Thanks so much for the positive response to the co-op review. I’ve never been happier with how any single video turned out. I also learned a ton about game design in the process, so I’m very glad I took on the project.
This week I’ll be attending Blizzcon, providing coverage of everything StarCraft related. The content here will be pure facts and analysis; tweets and articles over the weekend with follow-up videos after I return home. Let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like to see, and follow me on Twitter and Facebook to get all the updates.
After Blizzcon I’ll be back to working on normal projects. Over the past year and a half I’ve worked on four large projects (two in-depth commentaries and two in-depth reviews). Over the next year I’d like to tackle a larger number of medium-sized projects, but at the same quality bar as my other work. Here’s what I’m thinking:
- A few medium-sized, focused StarCraft II pieces.
- A few reviews of indie RTS games to stay up-to-date on the bleeding edge of the genre.
- A retrospective review on an older RTS (TBD).
- Topical videos and pure editorial content, similar to the free-to-play analysis and Warchest review, on an ad-hoc basis.
- Another video in Everything Age of Empires.
Finally, I also plan to start streaming my ladder practice. I’d like to take the time I already spend laddering and turn it into a good chunk of content with commentary and analysis. Expect 2-hour streams, 4-5 times per week, starting within the next three months over at my Twitch channel.
I’d like to thank you again for your support. I do this purely as a hobby in my free-time – the positive comments and feedback keep me motivated to continue building content. If you have suggestions or ideas of work you’d like to see, feel free to tweet at me.
Thanks and all the best!
